We often get asked what we use to varnish our oak barrels and where is the best place to buy it? Well here is the answer. We have teamed up with Flag paints and had our own brand of yacht varnish produced so you can carry on protecting your barrels for years to come using exactly the same varnish that we use. It is a tough gloss varnish based on premium resins, it provides a tough gloss finish suitable for marine application and if it is good enough for a yacht it is good enough for us to use to protect our barrels. When applied correctly the coverage should be approx 16 square meters per litre.
